Easy Cruising

If you like being on the water, there will come a time when you want to go on a cruise and you will want that that is an easy cruising holiday. Most people think that they cannot afford a cruise ship holiday and so they wait until their retirement money comes through.

Easy Cruiseing

This is a shame, because cruise ship holidays are not necessarily that expensive. It all depends where you want to go and what you are willing to put up with, because the fact of the matter is that cabins are only expensive, if you compare them by the square foot with hotel rooms.

Penny for penny per square foot, cabins are more expensive than hotel rooms, but then how many hotels are mobile and can float? You should not compare a cruise liner to a hotel. Not even to a Five Star Hotel.easy cruising

Can a hotel take you from the Greek Islands to Turkey or Greece to Spain overnight? Or even at all? Cruise liners will easily transport you over the sea from one destination to the next while you sleep.

It is just impossible to compare the food, the luxury, the camaraderie, the facilities and the sheer value for money of a cruise with a traditional holiday.

All cruising is easy cruising, because the chances are that you will never have experienced luxury like it in your whole life. Not only that, but everything - yes, everything! - except alcohol and gifts are free on board and if you choose an all-inclusive cruise, alcohol is free too.

What more do you want to be able to call it easy cruising? Well, there is one more huge factor actually. Usually, if you are flying abroad to pick up your ship, you only have to check your luggage in once.

In other words, you check your luggage in on the outbound flight and the next time you see it, it is lying on your bunk in your cabin waiting to be unpacked by either by room service (one of the cabin crew) or yourself.

Once you are happily ensconced in your cabin, the easy cruising begins. For example, on many cruises there is a huge buffet breakfast, elevenses, a five course lunch, four o'clock high tea, a seven course dinner and a midnight feast.

If you do not take care, you will put on weight during your cruise. In fact, one pound (500 grammes) a week is quite normal because of all the meals and the quality of the food.

But do not forget that that food is built into the price of your cruise, so there is no extra payment required. Throughout the day and especially after dinner there is entertainment laid on for all passengers.

Often, that entertainment is of the highest class and admission is free, naturally. The evening cabarets are such fun that there are often two performances a night - free, or course.

There are also swimming pools, piano bars, bars, restaurants, a gymnasium, look-out stations, and on deck sports too. To say nothing of onboard lectures and classes. all free of charge.

Why would you want to go to classes or lectures, you might ask? Well, do not forget that it is customary to put into a new port of call or even country every morning. The classes and lectures often inform travellers about the next port of call.

This is all included in the price. Is that easy cruising or not? All inclusive cruising was the original form of all inclusive vacations, decades before other land-based operators thought of the idea.

In short, if you are looking for an easy cruising holiday, you will not have to look far, because I have never come across a difficult cruising holiday.

So, go book that easy cruising holiday whenever you can because it is not as expensive as you think.
